On the shoot day, the process will be basically like this (btw, how we explain it to models):
Morning
- Warm intro of self and overview of the day
- Get to know the model, work on warm-ups (especially, “emotional” first)
- Get model paperwork completed in Homonoia (capture ID, Release form, Before HWB)
- Select clothes the model will wear (Backstage opportunities!); let her change in private
- Select suitable room to shoot in; set-dress as-necessary
- Setup flash gear for stills
- Pre Shoot Briefing
- Complete warm ups – physical and vocal (more Backstage opportunities)
- Shoot stills
- Refer to the Shoot Plan while shooting; ensure all Must-Haves are captured; shoot Dressing Room.
Afternoon
- Have a lunch break. A well-fed model is a happy model, and happy models make good shoots! Backstage…
- Do physical and vocal warm ups again (Backstage opportunities)
- Pre video shoot Briefing
- Shoot video
- Refer to the Shoot plan while shooting; ensure all Must-haves captured
- Finalise Model Release in Homonoia, and the “After” handwritten Bio (Backstage opportunities)
- Warm and friendly goodbye (Backstage!)
